It’s Thanksgiving time and time to share what we are thank for.\u00a0 We went to Lakeland to spend time with my husband’s Mother this Thanksgiving.\u00a0 When we first got there she stated “I told Linda (Larry’s sister) to tell you not to come!”\u00a0 You see whenever we go anywhere I call it National Lapoon time meaning that we are just as crazy as the next family.\u00a0 It was my husband, my\u00a0, Hollee, 16 years old, my son ,Taylor, 12 years old and my Mother who lives with us 80 years old that got in our car from Orlando and drove to Lakeland.\u00a0 In addition, we brought all the food and our little dog, Zoey.\u00a0 It was a chore.<\/p>\n
Larry’s mother is hard of hearing and refuses to wear the hearing aid that we bought her so again she yelled “I told Linda to tell you not to come”!\u00a0 I saw the look in my husband’s eyes (hurt) because she said that.\u00a0 She is old and is set in her ways and refuses to come to our house but yet she is lonely.\u00a0 I walked up to her and spoke loudly smiling\u00a0“It is Thanksgiving and we should be thankful that we can spend it together.\u00a0 It was no trouble to come and thank you for having us”!\u00a0\u00a0 What we thought was that she didn’t want us, instead she felt like it was a hassle for us to come and spend time with her.\u00a0 Thanksgiving was great and she had a good time with us.\u00a0 We even invited Larry’s brother down the street to come to dinner.<\/p>\n
We left around 6 p.m. in time to get home to watch a movie called “Click”.\u00a0 Adam Saddler was the work alcoholic that didn’t have time for his family.\u00a0 I come from a very close family.\u00a0 The more the merrier.\u00a0 It was hard for me to move to Florida and leave my family behind.\u00a0 The party house was my house and I would always do whatever I could for them.\u00a0 The moral of the movie “Click” is that FAMILY COMES FIRST.\u00a0 So this Thanksgiving I would like to thank my mother, daughter, two sons and my husband for allowing me the time to share myself not only with my students but with my women’s group.<\/p>\n
I would also like to thank my students and the women from my women’s group for allowing me to be part of their lives.\u00a0Each woman and student\u00a0has touched my heart in a special way.\u00a0May God Bless you all.\u00a0 I love ya all!!!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Happy Thanksgiving!!<\/p>\n
